Sheri Baron, Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist: Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychotherapy

Twenty years of experience working with kids and adolescents who have trouble fitting in either with other family members or their school environment.   Most have difficulty regulating their mood and behavior and are wired differently than other kids.  The focus of my work is to understand why certain behaviors repeatedly occur and to help families and schools develop better ways of dealing with those problems.  Many of these children/adults carry diagnoses of ASP/HFA, ADHD, and/or MOOD REGULATION DISORDER.  Most have sensory regulation, attention, learning and communication problems. Kids with REGULATION DISORDERS often create havoc at home and do not respond to parenting approaches that work with more “typical” children. A major component of my work is to help the overwhelmed parents of these children learn different approaches to deal with their child’s behavior.

and anxious as they deal with overwhelming situations  which can result in much stress.  Please call me to see if I am a good match for your family.
